【嶺大《同學們》觀影會 抗戰辦學故事感動人心🌟🎬】嶺大與鳳凰衛視在5月17日攜手舉辦《同學們》觀影會,一眾嶺大師生與中學生踴躍參加。電影以華南地區教育抗戰史為題材,用劇情式紀錄片形式呈現嶺南大學、國立中山大學等為代表的多所華南學校,師生們在抗戰時期辦學的感人故事。嶺南大學協理副校長(學術及對外關係)及香港與華南歷史研究部主任劉智鵬教授表示,「《同學們》香港觀影會選擇在嶺大舉辦,意義非凡。」💖觀影會的啟動儀式邀得包括香港特別行政區政府文化體育及旅遊局副局長劉震先生、鳳凰衛視執行董事、總編輯孫玉勝、廣東省林業局副局長吳曉謀、廣州市檔案館館長王海濱、韶關學院副校長田廣增、中山大學校友會秘書長黃瑞敏、香港特別行政區立法會教育事務委員會副主席周文港、全國政協委員馬浩文、盧永雄、吳靜怡、姚珏,香港華菁會主席李中以及鳳凰衛視中文台副台長兼電影台台長黃海波等嘉賓出席。活動亦安排分享環節,探討如何從歷史中汲取經驗,傳承和發揚愛國精神。🎬一起看看活動當日的精彩片段吧!✨了解更多:https://bit.ly/44TedF1【'Life Goes On' screening at Lingnan University 🌟🎬】The screening of the documentary "Life Goes On" hosted by Lingnan University and Phoenix TV on 17 May, was attended by students, faculty members from Lingnan University, and secondary school students, making it a memorable occasion on campus. The film is about the history of education in South China during the War of Resistance against Japan, and tells the story of several schools, including Lingnan University and National Sun Yat-sen University, that moved to northern Guangdong and continued their educational mission despite the challenging conditions. Prof Lau Chi-pang, Associate Vice-President (Academic Affairs and External Relations) and Coordinator of the Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme of Lingnan University, said "Screening the film at Lingnan University is very meaningful and symbolic." 💖Distinguished guests attending the screening included Mr Raistlin Lau, the Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr Sun Yusheng, Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief of Phoenix Satellite Television; Mr Wu Xiaomou, Deputy Director of the Forestry Administration of Guangdong Province; Mr Wang Haibin, Director of the Guangzhou Archives; Prof Tian Guangzeng, Vice-President of Shaoguan University; Ms Huang Ruimin, Secretary General of the Sun Yat-sen University Alumni Association; Dr Hon Chow Man-kong, Deputy Chairman of Panel on Education of Legislative Council; members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Mr Ma Ho Man, Mr Lo Wing-hung, Ms Ng Ching-yee, Ms Yao Jue; Mr John Li, Chairman of the Hua Jing Society; Mr Huang Haibo, Deputy Head of the Chinese Channel and Head of Phoenix Movie Channel of Phoenix Satellite Television.

- 2:32運動員袁泳琪: 「人要有目標,不然就會整日渾渾噩噩。」「乒乓球運動好像一場打怪獸的遊戲,當中有很多級別的關卡,中途會令你懷疑自己、甚至想放棄。但每次過關後,感覺到球技進步了,便會更加努力鑽研自己的技術。」袁泳琪,中國香港輪椅乒乓球運動員,於2023/24學年透過「頂尖運動員直接入學計劃」入讀嶺大動畫及數碼藝術(榮譽)文學士課程一年級。她患有俗稱「玻璃骨」的成骨不全症,更接受過矯形手術,自小對進出醫院並不陌生。然而疾病沒有磨蝕她對乒乓球的熱愛,過去的艱辛成就今天堅毅不屈的泳琪,近年她於國際賽事屢獲獎項,包括2019年IWAS世界運動會殘疾人乒乓球女子TT1-5級單打公開賽銅牌、2023年IWAS世界運動會女子 WS4 級單打銅牌及混合 XD10 級雙打銅牌。訪問全文:https://bit.ly/3XICkVv''Table tennis resembles a game of battling monsters, filled with numerous levels and challenges that might lead you to doubt yourself or even contemplate giving up. But each time you overcome a challenge and feel your skills progressing, it motivates you to work even harder on your technique.''Yuen Wing-ki is a para table tennis player from Hong Kong, China, who joined the first year of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Animation and Digital Arts (ADA) at Lingnan University for the 2023/24 academic year through the Direct Entry Stream for Top Athletes (DESTA).Wing-ki suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, commonly referred to as brittle bone disease. She undergone orthopaedic surgery, and frequent hospital visits have always been a part of her life, nevertheless her condition has not dampened her passion for table tennis. Instead of manually sifting through vast volumes of text to extract insights, historians now have access to sources at their fingertips. Prof Vincent S. Leung, Lingnan University's Associate Professor and Head of the Department of History disagrees says, "We are exploring how these innovations can deepen our comprehension of the past.
