嶺南大學學生事務處聯同環球教育處於2025年2月11日至12日在乾新坊舉辦「元宵之約 x 甜物市集」，讓學生及教職員歡度元宵。一眾學生及合作伙伴帶來精彩的歌舞表演、趣味工作坊，及多個以可持續發展為主題的特色攤檔，為校園添上濃厚節慶氣氛。活動更令來自不同學系、國籍的嶺南人聚首一堂，展現多姿多彩的校園生活。The Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Global Education of Lingnan University organised the Yuanxiao Festival x Sweetie Mart from 11 to 12 February 2025 at Skylight, bringing together faculty, staff, and students to celebrate the Lantern Festival.A variety of exciting performances, engaging workshops, and unique stalls focused on sustainability were presented by students and partners, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere on campus. The event brought together students from different departments and nationalities, celebrating the vibrant diversity of campus life.

The awards included the Outstanding Researcher Award, the Early Career Researcher Award, and the Research & Knowledge Transfer Fund Award, recognising faculty members for their innovative scholarship and impactful initiatives that elevate Lingnan’s global research presence.

This year, Terence Leung Ting-hei, a Year 4 student in the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Government and International Affairs programme at Lingnan University, was awarded the prestigious HSBC Overseas Scholarship for his outstanding academic achievements and community service - an embodiment of Lingnan’s spirit.We invite Prof Raymond Chan Hon-fu, Vice-President (Academics) cum Provost and Lam Man Tsan Chair Professor of Scientific Computing at Lingnan University, to sit down with Terence and explore how he lives out Lingnan’s motto: “Education for Service.”
