Lingnan University: Advancing into the Digital Era While Embracing Tradition
Lingnan University, a leading institution in Hong Kong's academic landscape, has a rich heritage that traces back to the Christian College in China, founded in Guangzhou in 1888. Renamed Lingnan University in 1927, it ceased operations in 1952. The institution was re-established in Hong Kong in 1967 as Lingnan College and later resumed the name Lingnan University in 1999.Building on more than a century of educational excellence, Lingnan University embraces cultural diversity and is evolving into a comprehensive university in the arts and sciences in the digital era.
