嶺南大學學生事務處聯同環球教育處於2025年2月11日至12日在乾新坊舉辦「元宵之約 x 甜物市集」，讓學生及教職員歡度元宵。一眾學生及合作伙伴帶來精彩的歌舞表演、趣味工作坊，及多個以可持續發展為主題的特色攤檔，為校園添上濃厚節慶氣氛。活動更令來自不同學系、國籍的嶺南人聚首一堂，展現多姿多彩的校園生活。The Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Global Education of Lingnan University organised the Yuanxiao Festival x Sweetie Mart from 11 to 12 February 2025 at Skylight, bringing together faculty, staff, and students to celebrate the Lantern Festival.A variety of exciting performances, engaging workshops, and unique stalls focused on sustainability were presented by students and partners, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere on campus. The event brought together students from different departments and nationalities, celebrating the vibrant diversity of campus life.

「學業最優異獎」一向是學術成就的最高榮譽，專門頒予成績冠絕同儕的學生。首屆商業心理學系畢業生惠秋圓以高達3.92的總平均成績點 (CGPA) 畢業，成為2024嶺南大學「學業最優異獎」得主。她表示非常榮幸能夠獲得這個獎項，並對一眾教授和同學表達深切感謝， 更指嶺大提供的豐富資源和機會，幫助她拓展了國際視野及多元發展。惠同學現於美國約翰霍普金斯大學攻讀心理諮詢碩士學位，展開人生新篇章。她回憶起在嶺大學習的點滴時光，滿滿懷念，並寄語師弟妹們要為自己的夢想而奮鬥。「為自己而努力，只要堅持前行，就沒有抵達不了的遠方。」— 惠秋圓The 2024 President's Award, the highest honour for academic excellence, has been awarded to Hui Qiuyuan from the first graduating class of Business Psychology. Hui’s impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.92 earned her the prestigious award.She expressed her deep gratitude for this accolade, and thanked her professors and classmates for their support. Hui believes that the rich resources and opportunities provided by Lingnan University have greatly broadened her international perspective and contributed to her holistic development.Hui is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling at Johns Hopkins University in the United States, embarking on a new chapter in her life. 走進劏房戶——嶺大學者與藝術家跨界別合作 策劃展覽呈現基層生活的真實面貌嶺南大學社會學及社會政策系助理教授黎苑姍教授與兩位香港藝術工作者羅妙妍女士及岑宗達先生透過展覽「所有：聽見118.4呎的聲音故事」，讓大眾把焦點轉到了劏房住戶的所有物件和日常勞動，透過展出住戶的生活用品及珍藏物件，呈現出街坊如何打破空間局限，把百尺一隅修築成家。“Listening to the stories of subdivided units” - Lingnan scholar and artists collaborate in an exhibition showing the reality of grassroots livingProf Ruby Lai Yuen-shan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at Lingnan University, and Hong Kong artists Ms Miu Law and Mr Victor Sham Chung-tat have focused public attention on the stories behind the exhibition "My Belongings, My Sound Stories in 118.4 sq.ft. (所有：聽見118.4呎的聲音故事)", which highlights the narratives behind the possessions and every day labour of subdivided unit residents, demonstrating how residents transform an inadequate domestic space into homes.
