嶺南大學於2025年12月4日及5日舉辦第56屆畢業典禮，由嶺大校董會司庫梁嘉麗女士主持。嶺大本年度共有4,066名學生畢業，包括901名本科畢業生、3,125名碩士生、33名博士生，以及197名深造文憑課程畢業生（當中190名畢業生同時獲授予會計學碩士及會計學深造文憑）。嶺大校長及韋基球數據科學講座教授秦泗釗教授致辭時，勉勵畢業生終身學習，鼓勵其身體力行「作育英才，服務社會」的校訓，傳承嶺大「紅灰精神」，化解社會難題，為自己及社群開創光明未來。Lingnan University held its 56th Congregation on 4 and 5 December 2025, presided over by Ms Carrie Leung Ka-lai, Treasurer of the Council.This year, Lingnan University conferred degrees on 4,066 graduates, of whom 901 were undergraduates, 3,125 Masters, 33 Doctors, and 197 postgraduate diploma holders (190 graduates were awarded both a Master of Accountancy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy).Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science at Lingnan University, encouraged graduates to embrace lifelong learning, and keep our motto, “Education for Service”, at the forefront of their journey. He also urged graduates to present Lingnan’s “Red and Grey” spirit, to make a positive impact by tackling genuine societal issues, and to shape a brighter future for themselves and the community.

- 0:45Spring Festival x Heritage Salon 2026 迎春之約 x 非遺雅集2026農曆新年將至，嶺大特意舉辦「迎春之約 x 非遺雅集2026」，匯聚醒獅獻瑞、歌舞表演，以及多個展示非遺文化、特色美食與互動遊戲的攤位。活動吸引超過500名師生相聚乾新坊，在一片歡聲笑語中，共同迎接豐盛新一年！With the Chinese New Year approaching, we were delighted to present the “Spring Festival x Heritage Salon 2026”. The event featured a spectacular programme, including rousing lion dances, singing and dance performances, alongside a vibrant array of intangible cultural heritage, food, and game booths. The event attracted over 500 students and staff to Kin Sun Square, where they joyfully came together to welcome the Chinese New Year amidst laughter and celebration!

- 3:55Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony 2025 嶺大榮譽博士頒授典禮2025嶺南大學於2026年1月26日舉行榮譽博士頒授典禮，由校董會主席姚祖輝議員向六位傑出人士頒授榮譽博士學位，以表彰他們在其專業領域的卓越成就，以及對社會福祉作出的重大貢獻。著名愛國商人霍震寰博士，SBS, JP及企業家李寧博士獲頒授榮譽工商管理學博士學位；香港賽馬會主席廖長江議員，大紫荊勳賢，GBS, JP獲頒授榮譽法學博士學位；卓越學者與學術領袖湯濤教授獲頒授榮譽理學博士學位；當代文壇重要作家王安憶教授及國際功夫巨星甄子丹先生獲頒授榮譽人文學博士學位。Lingnan University held its Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony on 26 January 2026. The Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, Council Chairman of Lingnan University, conferred honorary doctoral degrees on six distinguished individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements and valuable contributions to humanity.Dr Fok Chun-wan, SBS, JP, a well-known patriotic businessman, and Dr Li Ning, an entrepreneur, each received a Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa; The Hon Liao Cheung-kong Martin, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, received a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa; Prof Tao Tang, an academic leader, received a Doctor of Science, honoris causa; Prof Wang Anyi, one of the very best writers in the contemporary literary scene; and Mr Donnie Yen, an international action star, each received a Doctor of Humanities, honoris causa.
