【當AI遇上心理學：嶺大合辦首屆國際會議 解構數碼時代心理健康密碼】嶺南大學心理學系獲粵港澳高校聯盟支持，聯同中山大學、人民大學合辦首屆「數碼時代下的身心健康國際會議及工作坊」，分別於2月21日假嶺大校園，及2月22日移師中山大學深圳校區舉行。會議雲集17位來自內地、香港、美國、荷蘭和韓國等國際頂尖學者、AI專家和業界領袖進行分享及主題演講，首日已吸引近160人參與，共同探討如何將心理學融入AI發展，以應對工作、醫療和日常生活領域帶來的挑戰。【Lingnan co-hosts first AI-related psychology conference】With the support of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance, the Department of Psychology at Lingnan University in collaboration with Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) and Renmin University hosted the inaugural International Conference and Workshop on Health and Well-being in the Digital Era on the Lingnan campus on 21 February. The conference continued on 22 February on SYSU’s Shenzhen campus.The conference, featuring a series of keynote speeches brought together 17 pre-eminent scholars, AI experts, and industry leaders from Mainland China, Hong Kong, the US, the Netherlands, and South Korea, highlighting the crucial role of psychological science in shaping AI applications across work, healthcare, and daily life. Approximately 160 participants attended on the first day.

- 1:15學業最優異獎得主惠秋圓 分享讀書成功秘訣President's Awardee Hui Qiuyuan's secret tips for achieving academic excellence「學業最優異獎」一向是學術成就的最高榮譽，專門頒予成績冠絕同儕的學生。首屆商業心理學系畢業生惠秋圓以高達3.92的總平均成績點 (CGPA) 畢業，成為2024嶺南大學「學業最優異獎」得主。她表示非常榮幸能夠獲得這個獎項，並對一眾教授和同學表達深切感謝， 更指嶺大提供的豐富資源和機會，幫助她拓展了國際視野及多元發展。惠同學現於美國約翰霍普金斯大學攻讀心理諮詢碩士學位，展開人生新篇章。她回憶起在嶺大學習的點滴時光，滿滿懷念，並寄語師弟妹們要為自己的夢想而奮鬥。「為自己而努力，只要堅持前行，就沒有抵達不了的遠方。」— 惠秋圓The 2024 President's Award, the highest honour for academic excellence, has been awarded to Hui Qiuyuan from the first graduating class of Business Psychology. Hui’s impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.92 earned her the prestigious award.She expressed her deep gratitude for this accolade, and thanked her professors and classmates for their support. Hui believes that the rich resources and opportunities provided by Lingnan University have greatly broadened her international perspective and contributed to her holistic development.Hui is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling at Johns Hopkins University in the United States, embarking on a new chapter in her life. (所有：聽見118.4呎的聲音故事)", which highlights the narratives behind the possessions and every day labour of subdivided unit residents, demonstrating how residents transform an inadequate domestic space into homes.

All purchased units will be donated to residents of a transitional housing project run by a local NGO in Hong Kong.The Dinner showcased innovative research initiatives presented by Prof Paulina Wong, Head and Associate Professor of the Science Unit, and Prof Zhao Xiaofeng, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance. Renowned mathematician Prof Yau Shing-tung received a Doctor of Science, honoris causa, and distinguished structural biologist Prof Nieng Yan received a Doctor of Science, honoris causa.Lingnan also hosted the University Assembly in the morning, presided over by Prof Yau Shing-tung.
