嶺南大學於2026年1月26日舉行榮譽博士頒授典禮，由校董會主席姚祖輝議員向六位傑出人士頒授榮譽博士學位，以表彰他們在其專業領域的卓越成就，以及對社會福祉作出的重大貢獻。著名愛國商人霍震寰博士，SBS, JP及企業家李寧博士獲頒授榮譽工商管理學博士學位；香港賽馬會主席廖長江議員，大紫荊勳賢，GBS, JP獲頒授榮譽法學博士學位；卓越學者與學術領袖湯濤教授獲頒授榮譽理學博士學位；當代文壇重要作家王安憶教授及國際功夫巨星甄子丹先生獲頒授榮譽人文學博士學位。Lingnan University held its Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony on 26 January 2026. The Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, Council Chairman of Lingnan University, conferred honorary doctoral degrees on six distinguished individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements and valuable contributions to humanity.Dr Fok Chun-wan, SBS, JP, a well-known patriotic businessman, and Dr Li Ning, an entrepreneur, each received a Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa; The Hon Liao Cheung-kong Martin, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, received a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa; Prof Tao Tang, an academic leader, received a Doctor of Science, honoris causa; Prof Wang Anyi, one of the very best writers in the contemporary literary scene; and Mr Donnie Yen, an international action star, each received a Doctor of Humanities, honoris causa.
