嶺大蛋殼漆藝裝飾工作坊 體驗日常之美 Experiencing everyday beauty at Lingnan's Chinese lacquer decorations workshop
嶺大少雪齋藝術展覽館早前舉辦了兩場「日常之美:中國漆藝裝飾體驗」工作坊,讓公眾學習這項以蛋殼作為漆藝裝飾的傳統技藝,體驗當中的自然魅力與趣味。活動特邀土壤文創藝術家李釧毅女士和郭章樂先生,為參加者介紹中國漆藝的歷史和文化意義,並即席教授蛋殼漆藝、母貝鑲嵌及金粉裝飾的技術,讓參加者在理論與實踐中獲得全面的了解。在動手創作環節,一眾參加者學習使用特製工具,將各種雞蛋殼和鴨蛋殼壓碎、拼湊,再以生漆黏貼在器皿上。根據蛋殼不同的顏色、大小和形狀的搭配,他們創作出一件件獨特且富有個性的藝術作品。參加者王小姐表示,能參加這次工作坊感到非常高興,並期待嶺大未來能舉辦更多有趣的文化藝術活動,讓更多公眾參與其中。Lingnan University’s Chamber of Young Snow Art Exhibition Hall recently hosted two workshops titled “The Beauty of Everyday: Experience Session on Chinese Lacquer Decorations”. These sessions allowed the public to learn the traditional craft of eggshell inlay, immersing themselves in its charm and creativity.Artist Ms Li Chuanyi and Mr Guo Zhangle from The Gallery by SOIL introduced participants to the history and cultural significance of Chinese lacquer art. They provided hands-on instruction in techniques like eggshell lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay, and gold powder decoration, blending theory with practice.During the creative segment, participants used special tools to crush and assemble various eggshells, adhering them to vessels with raw lacquer. By combining the different colours and shapes, they crafted unique pieces of art. Participant Ms Wong expressed her delight in attending the workshop and hopes for more cultural events at Lingnan in the future.

The construction of Lingnan Hub began in February 2022, with the aim of officially opening in the academic year of 2024/25.
